"the real standout here is Druid, best known for playing the teenage Louis C.K. on Louie, who brings remarkable complexity to what could have been the part of a stereotypical brooding teen." - UPROXX.com
"Mr. Druid’s flawless performance keeps us hoping. It’s as if Conrad is his own avatar, searching for a reality he can grow in."- Wall Street Journal
" Devin Druid caught our attention as the 15-year-old son of Gabriel Byrne in director Joachim Trier's English language debut, Louder Than Bombs. The young star was a revelation as a teenager struggling to move forward following the death of his mother. We also saw him in minor roles in Imperium, Wiener-Dog and Macbeth Unhinged. "- The Movie Waffler
"Druid proves that the naturalism he exhibited as a Young Louie CK was no fluke."- The A.V. Club / AA Dowd
"...it’s newcomer Druid whose scenes pack the most power and force. His awkward high school misfit retreats into a vibrant,
soulful inner world that’s convincingly confused and messy. He’s the realest thing in the film."-ew.com
“The emotional center of the film rests with the teenage son, played by the incredibly talented Devin Druid in a career-making turn that might very well net him a handful of awards.” -indiwire
"...Then there is Devin Druid as Conrad. He is only 18 now and as Conrad he floats between 12 and 16. But he gives one of the best portraits of an intelligent, troubled youth I have ever seen, and his ability helps us know that Conrad the kid is in some ways the most mature member of this Reed family. He is far from a conventional American teen hero: Druid makes Conrad nerdy, insecure, hesitant, abrupt, un-grownup. But it’s intriguing to see young male actors not inclined to compete with superheroes. Druid is as rare and as interesting as another essentially unheroic young American actor – Dane DeHaan (Lawless; The Place Beyond the Pines; Kill Your Darlings)" – The Guardian
